A Partial Replication of T. Mroz’ paper(1987) on the Sensitivity of an Empirical Model

چکیده
(1) Actually, Mroz paper is very long and provides a plenty of outcomes using various estimation methods. This is so because the goal of the paper was to undertake a systematic analysis of several theoretic and statistical assumptions used in many empirical models. He attempted to address several issues at a time using a single data set, and thus to provide a useful baseline for future studies in studying female labor supply. So, I take only a part of them since it will be an extremely hard job to replicate all of them, and further, some of analyses in it are actually beyond my ability and knowledge.

متن کاملSensitivity analysis and parameters calculation of PV solar panel based on empirical data and two-diode circuit model
In this paper, a simple algorithm based on a two-diode circuit model of the solar cell is proposed for calculating different parameters of PV panels. The input parameters required for this algorithm are available from datasheets of the standard PV modules. The values of series and parallel resistances, as well as the recombination factor of Diode 2, are estimated through an iterative solution p...
متن کاملA credit policy approach in a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with price- and stock-dependent demand under partial backlogging
Advertisement of the product is an important factor in inventory analysis. Also, price and stock have an important role to attract more customers in the competitive business situations. Trade credit policy is another important role in inventory analysis. We have combined these three factors together in a two-warehouse inventory model and represented it mathematically. In addition, we have added...
متن کاملA new study of an EOQ model for deteriorating items with shortages under inflation and time discounting
We discuss the effects of inflation and time discounting on an EOQ model for deteriorating items under stock-dependent demand and time-dependent partial backlogging. The inventory model is studied under the replenishment policy starting with no shortages. We then use MATLAB to find the optimal replenishment policies. The objective of this model is to maximize the total profit (TP) which inclu...
متن کاملTwo-Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging Under Inflation
This paper deals with a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with time dependent demand and partial backlogging under inflation. It is assumed that deterioration of items follows two-parameter Weibull distribution and demand rate varies exponentially with time. Shortages are allowed and partial backlogging depends on waiting time of next replenishment. A numerical example is pr...
